Overview
We are not able to support all WordPress Plugins or Themes. As such each plugin or theme will be assessed against the following criteria:
- Operate without the need to grant database administrator rights to the WordPress database user
- Operate without creating database triggers
- Work as part of a multi-site
- Must be well maintained
- Updated at least in the last 3 months
- Not known to cause any performance issues
- The multi-site is shared by many users as such we need to ensure that a single site does not cause performance issues for others
- A threat risk analysis has been performed
How to request a new plugin or theme
If there is a plugin or theme you would like to use not on the list below, please send an e-mail to srvdesk@umanitoba.ca with the following information:
- Have them assign this ticket to the “WordPress” Team
- Name of the plugin/theme
- URL of the plugin/theme
- Rational for adding this plugin/theme
- Whether you are willing to pay for the license (including renewals)
